Translations available in: English (original) | French | Spanish | Italian | German | Portuguese | Swedish | Russian | Dutch | Arabic

The kenyan media fraternety is up in arms after the recent presidential assent to the media bill.Just so you know, among others this bill seeks to ignore the media council, allows ministers to close TV/Radio stations, edit and censor media content and seize and destroy broadcast equipment..I dont know about you but most of this sounds crazy..
By the way this "new law"was passed by 29 Members of parliament..what do you think about this?what would you do if this happened in your country?
